Time slips away, and
yesterday is gone, like
memories tucked between
sheaves of white
But here is the beautiful now,
of sparkling blue
of wings aflutter
of bird song
of budding leaves
along a winding path
I trod, filling up my senses,
because I am here
in the beautiful,
and the now…
That is absolutely stunning.

Hi Liz, thank you. I was feeling a bit down with the overcast skies and rain, when the clouds parted to reveal a beautiful blue sky which got the birds to chirping, and I thought, wow, I get to experience this beauty. right here and right now. Hope all is well with you and yours!

Hi Nick, thank you so much for liking my little poem. Sometimes it helps, in the middle of winter, to remember that clouds will part, as it did for me the other day, to reveal a bit of spring.

Hi KM, thank you for liking my little ode to a beautiful day. I was taking a walk and all at once the rain clouds parted to reveal an azure blue sky, which got the birds to chirping and all at once it felt like spring. So beautiful!

And, before we know it, three years, or more, have passed that could have been lived in Nirvana or Superconsciousness.
